- Mar 30, 2018 I have a 2015 PS4 and around a year ago my bedroom flooded and the PS4 was sitting in about an inch of water when I got home from work. I immediately picked it up and tried to dry it off but it would not power on. I have finally decided just to throw it out because it's just collecting dust but I would like to know if it is possible to repair it.

Still though you won't be able to send an used PS4 for repairs to Sony that you purchased from a pawn shop (or third-party; e.g. Craigslist, eBay, etc) without proof of purchase. You'll have to find another company that can repair consoles for a fee (such as GopherMods for defected PS3s).

Cost To Fix Ps4 Water Dmg System
I spilled some water on my MacBook Pro's keyboard.
I turned everything off and let it dry.
Now it charges VERY SLOWLY. As it, it stayed at 30% after 8 hours and I tinkered with it and went to sleep, after my ten hours of sleep it was at 50%.
I opened it up, as far as I can tell none of the water sensors have been tripped (It wasn't a lot of water). I'm looking at the white 'stickers' on the underside of the keyboard behind the optical drive.
Here's the thing - my warranty is technically void right now because I replaced the optical drive with an SDD. Should I go to Apple and not tell them about the water spill (I can remove the logic board to make sure all the stickers are white) and just have them charge me to replace whatever they need to replace (battery, magsafe board, etc)? (I don't have AppleCare and it has been 6 months since I purchased the laptop.) Should I tell them about the water damage (I feel like they'll blacklist me) and have them do some 'water damage repair'?
How much will this cost me?
Maybe it's better to just sell it on eBay explaining why it wont charge well and the just buy another MacBook.
Thanks!
